AAU is the official governing body of Austin Comets Basketball and eSports. We’re a proud member of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) since 2012 , which participates in AAU Central District, Super Regionals and National Championship tournaments.

Jr. NBAThe Jr. NBA is the official youth basketball participation program of the NBA. The Jr. NBA includes a free, membership-based program for our Comets youth basketball program. The membership is to help encourage and support youth basketball participation at the grassroots level and improve the overall youth basketball experience for all participants.

As the recognized governing body for basketball in the United States, USA Basketball is responsible for the development of our Comets youth basketball initiatives that address player development, coach education and licensing, and safety.
